Grenade

In most cases hot sauces and spicy foods have violent sometimes Satanic names that reflect the heat, such as, Satan's Rage Pepper Sauce. In most cases, the more violent sounding, the hotter the sauce. Another excellent example of this is the fact that the hottest confirmed pepper in the world is called the Carolina Reaper. A Reaper is a symbol of death. It may not be a sauce but it still sets a good example.

Danger: Grenade Hot Sauce
is a sauce made from Bhut Jolokia (But-jo-low-kia) peppers, better known as Ghost Peppers. Ghost peppers have a peak Scoville measurement of just under 1.1 million SHU, making Grenade a fairly spicy sauce. Grenade has a very tangy, bitter flavor which on it's own isn't exceptional yet goes excellently with ramen noodles or other flavor lacking foods. Grenade is an extremely thin hot sauce, which personally I'm not a huge fan of, I like a thicker more spices filled sauce like Reaper 51 especially considering thicker sauces tend to be hotter because of the presence of more spices and seeds. It's not that I don't enjoy Grenade because its thin, I just personally prefer thicker sauces over thinner ones. Grenade has a fair kick of spice for the lack of spices within the actual sauce, however lacks flavor compared to sauces of similar spice level. The flavor as stated earlier, is sort of tangy and bitter similar to Aubrey D sauces like Reaper 51 yet Grenade has an overall better flavor if that makes any sense. Even though they have a similar description of flavor does not mean that both sauces have the exact same flavor. Too put it in perspective, if I had to try one sauce straight with the same calculated amount of spice I would choose Grenade over Reaper 51, solely because the flavor of Grenade is better than Reaper 5,1 in my opinion even though the flavor is weaker.

Nonetheless, Grenade is an excellent option for people who enjoy a good kick of spice. For people looking for a more favorable sauce, this sauce shouldn't be your first choice although I'm not saying it won't be enjoyed by people who are flavor searching.
