Carolina Reaper hot sauces have become more of a challenging substance to try and less of a condiment. All over the internet you can find videos of people trying Carolina Reapers and their sauces. Take the show Hot Ones produced by First We Feast and hosted by Sean Evans for instance, Sean Evens describes it as "the show with hot questions and even hotter wings." it's a show where Sean Evans and a celerity indulge in chicken wings covered in sauce with increasing heat measurements while Sean asks the celebrity questions about their life and career. Hot Ones can be found on the First We Feast YouTube channel.
Reaper 51 is a Carolina Reaper sauce created by Aubrey D. with a heat measurement of about 1.5 million SHU for a bottle containing 150 milliliters (5.07 fluid ounces) of sauce. The flavor when eaten alone, isn't exactly delicious with a tangy bitter taste but when it's combined with other foods like pizza or ramen noodles, it blends well with those foods. Flavor aside, it is one of the spiciest sauces I have ever eaten if not the spiciest. The flavor, adds to the heat because spice itself is bitter and tangy so the flavor acts as an extension to the spice.
